About Us
Ken Sorgman - Established his sign business in Santa Barbara in 1975 after an apprenticeship with one of the country's foremost master sign painters/teachers - Mr. Stan Morrison. Ken's experience with an architectural sign firm on the East Coast also provided him with a strong foundation to meet the challenges of fine art design and sign fabrication required in Santa Barbara.
Signs By Ken has won several awards locally from Santa Barbara Beautiful, the City of Santa Barbara as well as being published in a national sign design book. Serving as a member of the City of Santa Barbara Sign Review Committee for two years, Ken has an excellent working knowledge of the sign review process the city requires. He was selected as the first and only sign designer/manufacturer to fill a position on this commitee.
Ken has always believed in working with the best talents in a relaxed and creative environment. The following employees have provided Signs By Ken with the expertise necessary to meet the most complex sign-making challenges.

For 36 years our family owned and operated business has been designing and fabricating quality signs in Southern California. We now offer limited services in the San Francisco Bay Area headed by our Sign Technician and Sales Associate, Jonathan Sorgman.
